Be careful who you fall in love with is an understatement. In a city full of snakes and sharks, only the strong survive and Shaniya is doing everything in her power to save the relationship with her no-good boyfriend Jamal, especially for the sake of her son. While she's easy to love, she can't say the same about him. Other women continuously gawk over Jamal, but Shaniya doesn't feel so lucky to be the main woman in his life as she often feels like she's drowning.

After numerous issues, she finally decides to test the waters and redeem the breath of fresh air she so badly needs, which causes her to instantly catch feelings for Killa, who is the total opposite of the toxicity she's experienced with Jamal.
