He began his career working and teaching HVACR and Electricity in his country in 1956 while serving in Colombia's Navy (Technical Schools) and continued it in the United States. Here, he has worked as a service technician, Instructor, Director, and Owner in several Trade schools (National Skills Center, Refrigeration School, Technical Trade School, GM Tech School, HVAC Tech School, La Guardia Community College {Continuing Education}, Etc.) He has written several HVAC & E textbooks, as well as preparation for EPA certification, and NYC Fire Department RMO licensing.
